If the application and process was accessible in the first place then you wouldn't need to waste public funds to help people apply. Its the most ridiculous process I've ever come across and it's totally broke me mentally. I was turned down 3 times for R & D and managed to get it on 4th attempt. 4 different access support workers. I've written a play that had had sell out scratch performances. I've booked in 12 Theatres I've had to cancel in November letting them down causing massive stress for both parties, for anyone who doesn't know, you have to book Theatres in to get a touring grant I then reapplied again after most Theatres allowed us to rebook and got turned down again 3 x days ago. I've bent over backwards to create a play with fantastic wrap around community creative involvement but yet still it's a no. No feedback no guidance no comments, just sorry but we had a lot of applicants. No one has seen my play, no one has spoken to me about my play. In short the process actually feels more like a tick box exercise for ACE rather than a process for the benefit of the artist or community. As a disabled artist I'm upset, I am angry and I'm broken by this. I feel that funding R&D when ACE has no intention on following through with supporting an artist to tour with a show is an utter waste of public funding. Its completely put me off from creating anything ever again. ACE need to build relationships with artists, they need to invest in things they actually come to see and more than anything they need to stop funding access workers and make the process accessible to all. The money saved would help to fund artists that never get a look in. So very disappointing that tomorrow I have yet again got to cancel on so many brilliant Theatres..

During the Movie Merlin. Anytime without fail when I saw Prince Arthur Cry, I Cried along with him. Same when Colin was upset I also felt the moments of sadness. It was a constant tear-jerker and I would love for the series to come back again with more adventure and magic. If I had to pick two heroes in my life it would be Bradley James and Colin Morgan. In a heartbeat.

We love visiting libraries.

Just found this on RUclips and know it's 8 years ago .. commenting anyway because James Purefoy gives such amazing interviews., he is delightful .. informative ..lovely to listen to ,, as well as to look at ,, Have followed James for a long time and appreciate his fine work ..and search RUclips for videos and interviews .. just to watch James in action .. and listen to his velvety and sultry voice .. One of the things he mentioned that meant a lot to him as an actor was having an effect on someone .. I would say James Purefoy definitely has a positive effect on those who watch him as an actor., as well as on those who know him as a man .. What a damn nerve, to have sly dig at 'engineers' without whom the modern technology that we enjoy daily would not exist at all. 'Disinformation' would become part of the Tyneside Cinema's so called 'culture'! It was once a 'cinema' where people would go to enjoy films, traditionally presented, that commercial venues did not exhibit. Where does 'art' enter into the equation? Claiming to be at the digital 'forefront' is laughable. The BBC were using PCM technology at least half a century ago. It's Technology; certainly NOT Art! Artists merely use technology invented by engineers. Some artists I've met in my working life were actually proud of their technical ignorance. If Dominic can deliver a lecture on the differences between COFDM and QPSK coding he would be credible. I could explain it to him though I doubt he would understand a single word.
